Owner and Head Instructor - Dan Forrest
Ayr Centennials Junior B Goalie Coach - GOJHL
Dan has been providing on and off ice goalie training through my own company for the last 17 years. His playing abilities helped him between the pipes for 21 years at various levels, reaching AAA level for most of his minor hockey career. In his OHL draft year he suffered an unfortunate knee injury which prevented him from accepting offers to play provincial Jr A and CIS hockey. He worked hard to pursue his education at York University and studied kinesiology and health sciences. Dan has been working with various age groups from the select to AAA levels as well as Junior B, Junior C, OHL and QMJHL. Dan believes in a good balance of hard work and fun with students, this allows for the opportunity to build good relationships and to teach many important traits of this unique position. Dan is a strong believer in repetition drills that mimic game situations to help prepare young goaltenders for all areas of the game.
Head Instructor - Billy Whaling
Billy grew up playing hockey in Waterloo and with hard work and diligence, he worked his way up, from house league to AAA, in 3 seasons. Billy went on to have a memorable Jr. career in Tavistock of the SOJHL. He has now channeled his passion for the game into coaching, passing on the lessons he had learned to future generations. Billy believes in investing not only in the technical aspects of goaltending but also in the mental resilience and dedication required to excel in the position. His goal is to provide the tools and techniques needed to reach the next level and to help empower his goaltenders to reach their full potential, both on and off the ice!
